Definitely agree on the grad awards thing! The resentment was so obvious towards the people who got the most awards, especially by the friends of the recipients, kinda sad really.

Yeah, now that I think about it, what exactly did the student council do at my school? >_<

As a side note, I still found it irritating that, in one of my years at high school, 2 girls were campaigning for student council rez. One gave a speech about how she could improve the school. The other talked about how good looking she was for about 10 minutes. She won.

LOL wooo dances/semi formal!!!

Oh, and they produced/gave out student cards at my school.

We could have replaced our student council with robots and got more useful work out of them.

It's always a popularity contest. My student council did pretty much nothing. It was the other committees at our school that held things like dances and fundraisers. Student council didn't do anything except look pretty in their office.

Dang.. I was on student council for 2 years and I just ended up working with the other committees and looking awesome in our office haha.

My school's council lost their office, after they got caught making "movies" the year before I transferred there.

I know getting a B- doesn't mean you're not obsessing over getting that B-, I'm just rubbing in the fact that you manged to get a B- when you definitely did not want a B- or any marks anywhere near B- on your transcript...
