1280?
I recently talked to one of my friends at mac, and she mentioned 1280...then she went offline before I could ask her what it is. Anyone know what 1280 is?

Quotations are there simply cuz its not the best club in the world.

Oh ok, so drinks are offered there too I guess. And why is it not a good club? Too crowded? No good service (this is per kevin's post )

It's the on-campus graduate pub. 1280 is the on-campus undergraduate pub. But you don't need to be undergrad/grad to attend either.

I believe the proper term for 1280 is a restolounge, or at least it was for Quarters.

well it's not a real nightclub in the sense that it's not like the nightclubs in downtown toronto. there are still events though on thurs/sat nights that are sometimes worth checking out if thats your thing
