I did my first midterm test in calculus yesterday, how will I know my mark? and how long do I have to wait , that course isn't on avenue

The professor will tell you when the tests have been marked, and usually he'll tell the class the average and if there was any adjustment (unlikely).

Then you'll be able to pick up your tests in the math help centre, downstairs in Hamilton Hall.

You will likely have to wait a week or two.

All my courses I've ever had at Mac have their own website for each course. The first year ones had marks posted by student number for tests, attendance, and sometimes other little things.

There are disadvantages and advantages to the Math Dept not using Avenue. A major disadvantage is not being able to discuss things like Maple but then on the bright side you don't have to worry about being able to access Avenue.
As for your marks, for my 1ZA3 class, I can find a link on Childs homepage.

I suppose you just find yr prof, go to their homepage and for that specufic course you should be able to see stuff like grades and suggested questions and stuff.
Oh but marks won't be out till about Thursday(one week after the write day) as it says on the Math 1ZA3 pg.
