Hey guys! I hope you're all settling in well this year. So just a quick question..I have Linguis 1a03 midterm on oct 23rd from 5-7pm and then orgo 1 exam from 7-8:30.

Will they give me extra time for orgo?

thanks

E-mail the course coordinator or professor about it. They may have an extra time spot for people with conflicts.

I suggest talking with your orgo TA. Maybe they can work something out like have you do your Midterm another day.

There isn't a conflict really... but the poster will be late for the second midterm.

Not really a conflict, but if I recall there has to be at least half hour gap in between midterms for it to be a problem (some rule the registrar had).

For orgo they usually have an earlier writing time for people with valid reasons as to why they cant write it during the normal time. Talk to your professor about it and just ask if you can write it earlier.

I know a lot of courses have early writing times. But for you since there's no direct conflict, you might be able to talk to the prof or instructional assistant in giving you extra time. Otherwise, you'd have to write it with the earlier date. Which would actually be better than having 2 midterms back-to-back.
