1st Year Engineering Timetable Feedback?
First of all, hi, new guy on the block here, good to be here.

The sticky thread for this seems closed so I've attached my mock time table in the hopes that it\'s not too late to get a second opinion.

I did cluster a lot in the morning, I find I just learn better early in the day, is that alright?

Wow, I forgot just how packed of a timetable I had in first year... What I found was if you start your day t 9:30 rather than those horrid 8:30 classes, you end up sleeping in and losing a bit of time, rather than if you start at 8:30 and finish an hour earlier... But that's all up to you.

Other than that, having those consecutive classes is good, and more than a 1 hour gap is grea for actually sitting down to get work done.

It seems good to me! Most of the classes are in buildings that are relatively close together. You might want to check Term 2, though, with the path from CNH --> ABB. That's a tad bit of a distance, but of course, doable. It just depends on the person!

The alternative is to move the physics into the afternoon, on the bright side, I'll get Okon again and I hear he's great, on thevel between the downside, it's a bit less travel from the MDCL to the ABB and my schedule is all over the place.
Is it worth it?

It's not too bad, however, you'll need to have a snack or two with you for Wednesday and Thursday mornings! Also, CNH to ABB might be a little bit long so make sure you can get out as soon as possible and speed walk to be able to make it with some time to spare .

Out of curiosity, where are T21, T22, T33 and T34 :/?

I think the original one was better since you hve less one-hour breaks and you finish earlier. CNH to ABB isn't impossible if you use short-cuts and such.

They're just tutorials that are happening at the same time. I listed them so I know what not to change once SOLAR assigns the tutorials and labs.

I would definitely go with the original if I were you.

Having completed Year 1 Eng, your timetable will look horrific but it really isn't that bad. A few suggestions however:

-if you are close to campus and don't commute, consider taking the night class for Econ. I took that class and it was way better to have a three hour class at night (it rarely ever lasts 3 hrs)

-try playing around with your 8:30 classes if you can. Unless you're a morning person... 830 Physics might not be the best thing around.

Apart from that, I think you'll be just fine. Good luck out there

For Course registration tonight or tomorrow is it necessary to plan courses date and time. Or should we just choose our courses and worry about changing around the schedule later in august?

Do we have to decide our schedule to that amount of detail for today when SOLAR opens?

You only pick courses today and what term you want them in (if it's offered in both terms). You don't choose cores/labs/tutorials until after sectioning in August.

MicroEcon 1B03 isn't a required course correct? If it is not, does anyone have a suggestion for somone going into Electrical Engineering? I liked this schedule, changed it for myself, but I don't think I want to do Economics...
