3rd/4th year bio/molbio courses you enjoyed?
Hi all,
I was wondering if any upper year bio students had some favourite 3rd/4th year bio courses they've taken? Why did you like them? I'm looking for some input cause I'm not 100% sure what I should take next year. Last year I took bio 3dd3, mol bio 3h03, 3hh3 and 3yy3 and I liked them all except bio 3dd3.

mol bio 4h03 (cancer) - amazingly interesting, covered various aspects of cancer including several signalling pathways, treatments, tumor formation etc.

mol bio 4p03 (med micro) - interesting course content - covers wide variety of common medical ailments, treatments etc., but very similar in concept to bio 2ee3 (i.e. memorizing useless facts)

mol bio 3m03 - did not enjoy this course at all, i found the course material was dry and boring and i did not find dr. campos to be a great professor

Bio 3FF3 is taught by Dr. Stone. It really dives into evolution, natural selection, phylogeny etc. If these are topics you're interested in, i'd suggest you take the course. Dr. Stone is very kind and approachable as well. His tests do focus on application questions but your tutorial marks and quizes can always make up for one bad tests. You definitely can do well in this class.
