Awful. Alexisonfire is terrible. The Arkells don't sound particularly bad by one song, but I highly doubt they'll be that good.

Joy.

Well, the Arkells are from McMaster/Hamilton so it'd be good to show support (even though it's free). =P

Are you kidding!?

I ****ing jizzed when I found out Alexis and Arkells would be playing.

My two favourite bands, wrapped up into a warm fuzzy blanket called Welcome Week.

My god this is gunna be sweet. Good job whoever picked the bands. Alexis was amazing last time around as they always are, and Arkells are just amazing guys, great sound, great energy!

Don't judge the Arkells by their recordings. I like them, but they are so much better live.

You know you have been around for too long when the same bands come back for another welcome week. Alexis was good the last time they were here, and the Arkells are always fantastic live! They are from Mac which rocks too.

Yes. Alexisonfire is bad, plain and simple. I enjoy myself some Gaga & Kesha on the occasion, Bon Jovi is solid, Hot Chipis good-- those 3 off the top of my head, and I'm sure I would find some other good music from the current-gen mainstream if I really hunted for it.

For as much as it counts, I'll give their live songs on Youtube a listen when I get some more spare time and form a better opinion from that and other recordings.

Last year they weren't allowing first year students in who didn't have a MacPass.
