I must agree..it isn't too bad getting into SOLAR if you keep constantly trying even through all of the errors like 'true'.

Good old Mac & SOLAR
Why would you be able to choose on the fourth? 4th and 5th year science students are on the 5th this year. Last year they were on the first day available, this year it switched to the second day. Technically, the vast majority of fourth/fifth year students are "returning to finish their degree".

That doesn't really affect it, whether or on the 4th or the 5th. The faculties that were to register on the 4th are Business, humanities, social science and arts and science. So except for Arts and Science, none of the other faculties would take up spots in science courses! The deciding factor is that you got in really late at 3, when a lot of people had taken up all the spots already, unfortunately :(

As the other posters have mentioned, the system doesn't see you as "returning to finish a degree" and thus does not give you priority because of it. Whether you're Level V or higher, you're just grouped in with Level IV for their selection dates.

False. I tried for over three hours using this method and I was pretty consistent throughout.

I disagree, I did that nonstop and it took me 2 hours to get on. Literally 2 hours of nonstop clicking and closing the window with command + w (mac)
