Hey guys, I've also got a question...
well..I was in Engineering I, but I decided to switch to econ during first semester, since Eng I courses were too hard for me, I decided that if I don't drop basically everything I was taking that semester except for ECON 1B03, I was going to get a CA lower than 3.5 or even a 3! so I did, I took 7 classes in 2nd semester trying to bring up to 24 units. But I failed 1, leaving me with only 21 passing units....I was not eligible for any of my choices on my list for second year. Am I gonna get kicked out? I currently have a 3.625 CA with the failed course (count as zero) counted in....so for clarification, I got a 3.625 CA for all the eight courses I've taken.....what will happen to me next year? am I still going to be registered under engineering or simply get kicked out??? Please I hope someone can answer me, coz I am really lost right now...

Hey guys ... I have a similar question to the person above ... I was in Eng I last year but unfortunately I found out half way through that I'm not cut out for the program ... as a result my final average turned out to be 2.8. I was planning on switching to Econ for second year and I was wondering what I have to do now. I f'd up by taking Engineering in the first place and I know that Econ is right for me. What options do I have now?

Hey Drig, what does it say under results on your Grade report thing?

You'll likely want to go to talk to the eng people in 214A, and they'll be able to tell you what to do whether you want to stay in eng or switch.

You could look at summer classes, but likely you'll have to do some sort of 'limbo year'

Hey ... thanks for the reply.

I definitely want to switch programs so staying in Engineering is not a consideration for me at the moment. I don't want to put myself through something that I know Im not suited to be.

And as for summer classes, I've already registered for one course in second term. Either way, I'm extremely worried that I have no choices at all. On my grade report, it said that I won't be back in university. I know I can do well in Economics. Man, this grade report ruined my weekend for me.
