I wasn't looking forward to taking this course, as I thoroughly dispised its third year predecessor...even less so because it was mandatory.

That being said, some parts I really enjoyed, and others I did not. Unlike 3L03, this course had some really interesting material. If you have never heard of the video the Machine is Us/ing Us, I suggest you watch it. Seeing it in this class really gave me perspective.

However, I did not like the attitude of the Prof. They really liked the fact that they were so much more learned in the subject than we were (and I'm sure the forty years in age difference may have helped that), and liked to point out their superiority, and our apparent inferiority. I dreaded going to this class by the end.

Course weighting was difficult. Two ten page essays both worth 40%, and the remaining portion was all participation.
