Ryan's list is pretty good (Centurion is a ridiculously underrated movie. Some really good actors in there too.)
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (You really have to pay attention, it's easy to lose the plot. However, Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, John Hurt, Benedict Cumberbatch...almost too much talent for one film.)
Midnight in Paris (Really clever and light-hearted, great premise but I won't spoil it!)
Starter for 10 (Quirky, funny movie about a boy going away to Uni and competing on a quiz show...he's a bit of a herpderp.)
Inglourious Basterds (If you've never seen it, you need to. Tarantino's take on WWII.)
Old School, Wedding Crashers, Zoolander, Anchorman, A Night at the Roxbury (All hilarious comedies)
Wolf Creek (Australian horror flick, friends go on a road trip and requisite bad shit happens.)
The Lord of the Rings trilogy (No explanation needed.)
X-Men: First Class (Best X-Men movie so far in my opinion. Prequel/new trilogy starter.)
War Horse (Very Spielberg in the sense that it's very sappy, but a good kind of sappy! Boy's horse gets sold to the cavalry in WWI.)
28 Days Later (Not quite zombies, but a post-pandemic movie all the same. Faaantastic.)
Third Star (One of my favourite movies of all time; the whole thing's in parts on YouTube. A young man with cancer goes on one last big camping trip with his friends, but holy god the ending will give you feelings.)
I tried to include a bit of everything, not sure what type of movies you're into. Wow, apologies for the unnecessarily long post!
