honestly just get Netflix and then get the google chrome extension for american netflix.

I really enjoyed The Hobbit in 3D, the scenery in it is stunning

Any Hayao Miyazaki Movie....

I just re-watched Howl's Moving Castle and it is amazing.
I recommend Ponyo and Spirited Away if you want a smooth ride.
Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind are great thrill rides.
