Anyone else not taking pysch 1x03 next term?
I didn't feel like continuing with life science for second year, I was hoping to try bio chem or other options so I didn't take pysch 1X03 because that was only required for life sci 2. So by not taking that course next term, I won't have life sci 2 to fall back on.

Is this a bad choice to make? Are there any other life sci students not taking pysch 1X03 next term? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS!

I'm not 100% about this but if I remember correctly:

You can always get into Honours Life Sci with a conditional acceptance and take PSYCH 1XX3 in second year, even if you don't apply for it. So if you don't want to take 1XX3, don't. It is more biology-based but the teaching style is roughly the same so, yeah..your call.

I made the exact same decision in my first year despite an academic advisor's advice. It was actually one of my best ones that year. Chem 2 also has unlimited enrollment, or whatever they call it. Basically, everyone who applies and got at least a 5 in both chems get in. I was fairly confident after first semester that I would get in to at least one of the bigger second year programs based on my grades and previous years' cutoffs.
