This is all I could find. You need at least a 4.http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...rent/pg60.html I'll double check if bio is an acceptable course, or not.

No idea, but don't worry - the first year biologies will probably be your easier courses if you're in life science.

It's actually ridiculous. They offer BIOL 1*03 as the credit, this meaning a bio class that doesn't exist so doesn't count towards any prerequisites. It just goes on your transcript as a "completed" biology class, so if your grad/professional school has any requirements, you can use that credit for it. In other words, it's useless and not worth it.

Doesn't that mean you have 3 credits and thus in one year you only have to take 27 units?

One of the advisors told me last year that when AP first became "big", Mac gave out credits for 1st year Bio/Chem/etc. They then found that those people were failing 2nd year Bio/Chem because not all topics in 1st year are taught in AP and/or people were taking a year off from the subject and remembering less.

Thanks! I was just wondering whether it was worth taking, because so far it's just giving me a huge headache.
