What is an aplia, gec code, and i-clicker?
Is an i-clicker something you point on the board with. If it is, can I just buy one and use it in all the classes that require one?

APLIA is used for assignments and quizzes I believe.
Not sure about gec code.
The iClicker is a multiple choice remote. You use it to answer in-class questions with multiple choice.

You just need one iClicker for all your classes. If you're in Comm 1PA0, you NEED it to pass the course.

Are you sure Ben? I thought you had to register it online to your student number. Or maybe that was just for Commerce.

You do, but that's just for reference with your professor... I bought mine used as well.

Yes, you purchase Aplia online. Or at Titles when you buy a package with the textbk perhaps- you'll get a code for Aplia. its an online program where you have tests, quizzes and often the entire textbook posted too (if this is about econ, then buying the hard copy for the text is pointless)
not sure what gec code is i'm afraid...

Aplia is used for economics, such as ECON 1B03.
I-Clickers are used to participate in in-class quizzes, multiple choice. For some courses they are optional, for some they are for marks. Once you register your iclicker with the iclicker website, you can use it in any class
