Applying to Level II
So at what time next year do you find out what programs you get in to? I'm asking because there are two biology courses that I'm probably going to take over the summer next year, as they are pre-reqs for Life Sci and Psychology; will they be factored in to my admissions before I start Year 2?

You apply for the program(s) you want to enter between March and April - they'll send out an e-mail to tell you when to start applying.
You then accept which program you want to enter (out of the ones you have chosen) when you select your courses for second year - which was around the same time you picked your courses for first year.
To answer your question, I think if your registered for a summer course that you need for a summer course they will allow you to choose them.
For my self, I had a math class that I needed and I finished it in the first term of the spring/summer term. Because it finishes right before you pick your classes I was allowed to pick my desired courses.

The master undergraduate table hasn't been updated for next year spring/summer yet, but assuming that one of the courses is in the second part of the summer term, would I still be able to get in?

I'm sure they would allow you to enter it if you were registered in it, but obviously if you failed you would not be allowed to enter it.
Even if they do not allow you, because you did not finish the course before initial registration SOLAR re-opens again sometime in mid August, so provided you pass the course you could apply to enter the class again.

You will be accepted to the program on the condition of completing those two courses. If one is in the second spring/summer term, you won't be able to register for any courses that have it as a prerequisite. I'm not sure if you'll be able to get waivers from the dept, but it will be a pain--especially if you want to get into non-required courses that have those two bios as prereqs. For both Life Sci and Psych, there are many courses where you just have to pick a certain number of units from a list, so you might end up getting stuck with whatever is left by the time you get your bio credit.

Why aren't you taking these courses during the year? It would definitely save yourself a lot of grief come registration time, even if you can only take one of them

One I can't take until I get past level 1, and the other I can't because schedule is full.

what are the courses? If there Biology 1M03 and 1A03, if so both of those are offered during term 1 of summer school. So you should not have a problem picking courses, once those two classes are complete.

Isn't Earth Sciences in the faculty of Science? (that might be a REALLY dumb question, but I thought it was? Or is that Enviro Sci?)

Either way, you're still considered Level 1 next summer (until Sept when you start Level 2), but they should grant you a waiver for the summer, even if they won't during the school year. Bio 1A03 and 1M03 were both offered first term this summer, so hopefully they are next summer as well!

Keep checking for 1M03 though, you might get lucky!!!
