Long drive? its only 45 mins if you drive the speed limit from your end to the other end

If it's classic cars you're talking about, come to the Timmies on George St in Peterborough on Tuesday nights (I think). They do a weekly meeting/informal show there every week in the summer.

Nah, it's not a long drive for me. Plus I like driving, windows down, music blaring. Relaxing stuff.

There's just all sorts of cars. Mostly fast ones, since Mosport's right around the corner. Omnomnom. <3

Last time I went to Hamilton, on the way home, I got passed by a Charger and something else. I was doing about 120-125, and they flew by ne like I was stopped.

10 mins later, I passed them, as they were both pulled over by OPP. I dont even wanna think what their fines were.

If they were going 50 over the speed limit, they probably got ridiculous fines (in the thousands) and suspension of license...

50 over is a 10K fine, 7 day suspension, and a tow of your vehicle.

And I love me a Charger. So hawt 'Cept for the 2009 version.

Oh yeah, towing of the vehicle.

I think it's up to a 10k fine starting at 2k.

I thought it was automatically 10K. That's what it says on the signs on the 401. D:< Which is now apparently air patrolled. :O

I keep on seeing 2k-10k everywhere... But the sources aren't that good, mainly online newspapers. I tried looking in the Ontario Highway Traffic Act but couldn't find any numbers.

Let's just hope we don't find out from first hand experience. XD

If you are serious, good luck! That profession is dangerous.

I disagree, I'm personally not a fan of Hamilton, but I live within 20 minutes of it. I visit Hamilton almost daily and I continuously find new places to visit. It all depends on what you like, I'm into outdoor sports, nature and photography and for me Hamilton has all that. For those into biking there are hundreds of trails, many that are by the water. There are also hundreds of waterfalls and forests to check out.
