Use this http://addgadget.com/network_meter/ to test speed on a real time basis as well as bandwidth. i found it has been invaluable solving disputes (such as how big a download or movie was) and too make sure i didnt go over my 3gb bandwidth i had this summer. if downloading, click on the link to the window live gallery

cant access the modem (housing property locked but this is what i got)

we have cogeco ultimate 30, so the speed is kinda disappointing, And i find that sometimse certain webpages just dont load until u refresh a couple times

Cogeco isn't going to run out and fix the node congestion in one day, it takes a while. for now, you're going to have to deal with it. they will come back at you with "node congestion" or "we said UP TO 30 Mbps lololololololol"
