Average for upper year students into residence
Hey wondering what the average was to get into residence in the upper years?

I think anything you have to maintain atleast a 5 to qualify for Rez. I am not sure though.

Apparently a 5.0 Sessional Average keeps you on the guaranteed list.

it's still the lottery system as well? right.. is there anyway you're guaranteed a single room?

If you make it to Dean's List, you will be guaranteed the room of your choice which includes a single room

Generally most of the rooms reserved for upper years are singles. 20% of rooms are for upper years and there isn't a great demand for residence among upper years so you should get a single room regardless.

I stayed in residence in my 2nd year and got a single room no problem.

hey, i think they'd never put an upper year with a roomate in a double room.

other than single i guess you'd be in their apartment thingys

I've heard of it happening before but its very rare. I've only heard of one case, and I've mostly heard of upper years who wanted to share with first years and requested each other as roommates.
