B.tech to engineering
Hi, Im currently enrolled in B.tech (year 2). My average last year was a 7 due to which I was unable to make a transfer into eng. I also took programming and autoCAD courses from first year engineering in which I achieved a 7 and 8 gpa respectively. Do you think I should take the eng courses this year (chem or physics) and then apply for transfer next year?

I have already lost abour 2 years of my education time and I was wondering if transfer this way is possible!

Please help. Thanks a lottt!!!

You should talk to an academic advisor.

You can transfer to engineering after 2nd year btech. You see, 7 and 8 are good marks but if you need a high average to transfer to engineering I'd just sticking with the 2nd year btech courses, and just work really hard on them. The person who's responsible for such transfers is Maria White, best thing is to set up an appointment with her and tell her about your plan. Or you could just ask her through email.

Nothing is impossible if you have the confidence that you can and will do it! Don't ever lose hope, you can still transfer if you work really hard!
Good luck!
