BA in Economics vs BCom
A cousin of mine from overseas has been accepted into year 2 Commerce contingent on him completing two summer courses and Year 2 Economics. He enjoys both subjects and is not sure which one to pick. His main concern is obtaining a job after graduation. Which degree will result in more job opportunities?

I don't know, but tell him to not waste his money at Mac if he wants to go into Commerce.

Yup, that's it. Couldn't be the fact that we're forced to spend like 4 grand on bullshit electives.

No matter what school you go to you'll have to spend money on electives.

Off the top of my head:

http://business.queensu.ca/bcom/curriculum.php

Compared to our 1 business class in year 1, and our 18 units of combined electives in 3rd and 4th year. 3 units of electives in 2nd year, but I consider that fair.

Do your own research. I'm obviously a little biased. And you probably shouldn't leave a life decision like this up to someone else.

Don't worry, people in Mac Commerce get into Investment Banking. There just isn't that many of us.
