Go out to 10-acre field at night and there is usually a whole herd of deer. It's not like they are anything new.

Man when you're walking from Keyes to Woodstock baked they are trippy as ****. The deer completely run that one path going down by the forest behind Faculty Club after dark. I wouldn't step on their turf.

Also that forest gets creepy too.

Must be the ganja, its the marijuana.

Not only deer, I've seen raccoons, rabbits and frogs as well.

Seriously if you go to ten-acre field at night you can usually find groups of 10+ deer. They are quite docile. Just stay away from the racoons, they aren't very nice.

There are little romping Babmis! I will get excited when I see Bambi, Thumper and Flower all together at the same time! Yes, I am aware that we have rabbits and skunks.

I wonder if people would stop eating rabbit stew if we started callng it bunny stew.

Deer on/near campus?

You should take pictures and make this the official PICTURES OF CUTE (or not) ANIMALS ON McMASTER CAMPUS thread for those of us that don't notice these things as easily. All I've seen are those squirrels. Those damn cute grey squirrels eating snow.

sadly I just erased the photos from my hikes last fall from my computer last week. I had pictures of deer, frogs, fish, ducks, snakes, frogs, herons, hawks, a dog, a possibly feral cat, 2 coyotes, a bald eagle nest, and a rock that looked like homer simpson.

Seriously we have a heck of a lot of wildlife near MAC. I strongly suggest people make the hike along the path that leaves from the gravel parking lot next to Les Prince.

You can actually go into Cootes Paradise (during Spring to Fall, I don't know if you can see much stuff during this time of year) if you guys like animals, it is a like a haven to them (since it's a genuine wetland there). The deers are so cute, but I don't think you would want to tick them off unless you want them hitting you with their hooves.

I think that it is just behind Brandon Hall, if my memory serves, there should be a trail and a little bridge in the middle.
