RBC is known to have great student loans. However the nearest branch to mcmaster is a fair 30 minute walk or 10 minute walk +bus ride.

On the note of branch location:

-CIBC atm machines all across campus
-cibc and td in westdale i believe
-and I have no clue where any of the other branches are for other banks.

Also try getting a PC bank card. All the groceries you get at fortinos will add up in points getting free groceries.

CIBC ATM is on campus. You can always use PC bank cards through these machines for free. Be warned that there's little to no assistance for things like bank drafts, money orders, and currency exchange.

There's a TD and Scotia in Westdale (10-15 minute walk from campus)
