There's a CIBC atm on campus in the student centre. There's also a TD bank, CIBC and a Scotia bank over in Westadle (10min walk from campus).

I would reccomand either one of TD or CIBC. The fees depend mostly on how much money you have on the account. You could inquire in any branch or call them. www.cibc.com, www.tdcanadatrust.com

Well I use both TD and CIBC. I use TD for personal banking and savings, and we're forced to use CIBC for all MSU Clubs (thus MacInsiders has a CIBC account). CIBC charges us $4/mo just to hold our money which I think is ridiculous, but that's another story.

There is ONLY CIBC on campus (ie. ATM machines). So if you don't want to be charged fees to withdraw, you'll have to use CIBC.

However, I dislike CIBC because their hours are ridiculous and I like banking with TD much better. TD is open 8am-8pm and the branch in Westdale is even open on Saturday, plus their customer service is much better in my opinion.

As for the CIBC, I have to go there during my work lunch break because I can't go after work (they are closed) and usually during school I have classes during the times they are open. Their hours are:

Monday-Wed 09:30 AM - 04:00 PM
Thursday-Fri 09:30 AM - 07:00 PM
Saturday closed
Sunday closed

If you don't want to use CIBC and want to use TD or another bank, you can use the Campus Cash ATM's on campus ($1.50 fee) or you can use the MSU ATM which is in the student centre near the entrance and I believe it only charges $1.00 fee. There is also a TD Canada Trust ATM in the Tim Hortons down the street from Mac that you can go to and withdraw for free.

The nearest RBC ATM is at the Esso gas station on Main and Cootes (some 5 minute walk from ABB). The nearest RBC branch is on Main & Whitney - you can take the 51 University bus from campus to this intersection, and it takes around 8-10 minutes to get there.
