Man, my friends and I used to play brawl and melee so much. I only went to one of these tourneys, but my friends went to them all the time, they seemed like a lot of fun. A couple of my friends were really good when they went to the tourneys, I think 2 or 3 of them were on the leaderboards for a while. You may know them, they were Hype (or Hobbs), Fool, Shi Fu and some others.
Captain Falcon is by far the best character though. Full of epicness.

I stopped playing brawl. I've heard of hype but not the other two. Captain falcon isn't that great in melee and he definitely sucks in brawl. (My main is captain falcon so I know :()
