Overall: UofT, McGill, UBC, McMaster, Queens respectively
But depending on faculty, it can vary.

Your opinions. (University rankings are generally not as accurate as public perception.)

wat. a students can pretty much only speak for 1 or 2 schools, usually 1. i'd rather look at rankings then see a kid from western telling everyone his schools the best and me believing that.

Well, which universities are the top choices for someone finishing high school? When different ranking websites list different ranks, how do you know which is more reliable?

Mcleans does an issue on that since there is no overall, it depends on what YOU value. Like if you like to be in a school requiring high grades, it's U of T or Waterloo. If you like small class sizes, go out East. etc etc.

I think this holds pretty true, unless you don't like massive universities (like me) in which case Mac is #1

I think Snowman means to say that Mac is the smallest of those listed.

No, McMaster is not the smallest university in Canada. It is small in comparison to a school like U of T, but there are several smaller schools.

I would take Macleans University rankings with a grain of salt. You'll always see University of Waterloo at the top of their rankings but you'll rarely see them in a top 100 university worldwide ranking...those are usually reserved for Canadian schools like University of Toronto, McGill, UBC, University of Alberta and McMaster.

Nope just out of the list! The other ones (besides Queens) all have more than double the people of Mac, which I wanted a mid-sized university like Mac. Hence why I came here
