Bio Lab Test
Hey, for anyone who had BIO 1A03 before would you suggest msaf-ing the lab exam? I keep hearing about how it was so hard, and that no one had any way to be fully prepared for it (even if you kept your notebook up-to-date). Is the test actually that hard? Is there any way to be prepared for it, or is it better to msaf it?

if u msaf im pretty sure u write later. the avg is always over 80 for it. do u think it is hard with that kind of avg? if u did the labs and didnt just copy them then u wouldnt even need to study for it.

Unless they've changed it a lot over the years, MSAF-ing the lab test is very very silly. Maybe getting 100% on it isn't very easy (but then again when is it ever very easy to get 100% on science midterms/tests?), but it's very straightforward and simple in my opinion.

Like Silver said, if you properly prepped for your labs and didn't just mess around, and your lab notebook is well-kept and you know it's organization, then you'll be good to go. Definitely not something to stress over, again assuming it hasn't changed much over the years (which it doesn't sound like it has according to my younger-year friends), goodluck!

If your attitude towards life mimics your attitude towards academics, I'd seriously reconsider what you're doing.

"People say it's hard so I'm gonna cheat my way out of having to do it."

First, it really isn't hard, it's a totally fair test, you've been told all term exactly what you need to know for it.

Second, have some self-confidence. You might be smarter/better prepared/in a better situation than the people who told you the test was "hard", and fully capable of doing better than them. And even if you aren't, that's no reason to just avoid it - you'll never learn if you do that.

Just wondering, what kind of questions should we expect on it?

Exactly what they've been telling you all term. There were no surprises on it.

Haha I remember that time when I felt I was screwed for the lab test because I didn't even organize my lab note! I was so scared to write the lab test.
Now that I think back, it was the easiest bio lab in the entire university

Reading all your opinions is very reassuring, and it doesn't seem TOO bad now, hopefully it goes well. Thank you all!
