if you're not in genetics and dont need to take the course, dont take it. it's random! half the stuff does not make any sense to you, the assignments ask you to blindly follow instructions and thats the only experience you get out of the course. the midterms are worse because you've only learned practical aspects of databases and it's just so hard to write out what you've learned about a database.

Dr. golding is great though, funny and he tries really hard to get you interested and super helpful.
