I lived on the 9th floor and I also agree. My room on particular was the room of epicness on that floor. Whoever ends up in room 916, please take good care of it.

bigmac, there's one in the basement of the residence. The washrooms are never crowded. You will have room for everything.

Hello everyone!
I am in Brandon hall 6th floor. I don't know if mine has a private washroom or not....but anyways i have heard a lot of good things about this res. Like socially, and in terms of having a fun experience.
Well see you guys next year at res!

How are the washrooms on the weekend? I heard some nasty stories from my friends' sisters from other university --- during partying weekends (especially brandon hall since it's known as the party central) the washrooms are disgusting and cleaners don't clean them until weekends. That's the thing in other university, does this apply to brandon hall also? Also, how's studying in brandon hall? Do people who live on that res usually go to the library because of loudness and parties? Or are we able to study in our rooms? Oh and last 2 question! LOL, how big are the rooms? and what size are the beds (single or twin)? Thank youuuuuuu Sorry if i ask some retarded questions! LOLLLLLLLL

The washrooms are actually not bad at all. The only time I had to worry about it is when a few people ended up puking in there. Brandon Hall did have parties but it really wasn't party central this year. It was an awesome rez to live in though because all the people there were cool. It will all depend on the students living there. The cleaners did a great job at cleaning regardless of how messy things got.
As for studying, there are study rooms in the basement if you don't like studying in your room. It's probably better to go to a library though if you want some serious studying done. However, the study rooms in the basement of the rez are always open so if you're doing late night studying you can always go there.
I have lots of pictures of Brandon Hall and my room so I will upload those in a bit.
Hope that helped!

I have lived in Brandon for the past three years, the washrooms are cleaned daily (as of last year). So there shouldn't be any problems with cleanliness in the washrooms from parties. There are study rooms located in the basement of Brandon Hall, if you find it distracting or loud in your room. I usually study in my room, no major problems. Rooms are fairly decent sizes, the beds are singles. Feel free to ask more questions.

I'm pretty sure there's 1 double+washroom on each floor. It's at the corner of one of the elevators, the one closer to the back of the building. (I think the room faces the forest.)

Yup, it's the corner room. Once you come out of the elevator, it's the last room on your left. I was extremely jealous but then again, those guys never came out since they had their own washroom so it sucked for them. Communal washrooms actually play a major role in meeting others from your floor.

Haha, as creepy as it sounds, a lot of conversations are started in the washroom.

lol it's really true. You end up talking to people on the way there or even if you're in the washroom haha. That's how I met most of the people didn't come out to events from the floor.
