Welcome to DeGroote!
Since you did not take Data Management in high school, you have to take STATS 1L03 in first year. I found the course to be extremely easy (probably my easiest first-year course).
STATS 1L03 covers linear algebra, probability, and statistics. However, the majority of the course focuses on linear algebra (polar coordinates, solving equations, matrices, etc.). The probability and statistics units are a bit trickier but still doable with a little bit of effort. I don't know who is teaching this course this fall, but I had Dr. Baki last fall. She was very helpful after class/during office hours and had fair tests.
I don't know about the high school Data Management course, but I found that STATS 1L03 prepared me for the second-year required Statistics course (COMMERCE 2QA3) that I just finished in the Spring term. The first four chapters were very similar.
