I am planning to buy a Macbook at the beginning of the year, is it better to buy it from McMaster or buy it from an electronics store, if so, which store is best to buy a Macbook from ?
THANKS

I would suggest directly from the Apple store. I have seen a lot of instances where other stores dont have upto date hardware/software.

Also if you buy it from the Apple store, make sure you buy it before September the 7th. That way you get a free itouch + 100$ discount + a free printer.

Goodluck

It actually doesn't matter a whole lot unless you want the iPod mail in rebate.

I had to decide between Best Buy and the McMaster store or Apple Online.
Best Buy would honour the educational pricing but weren't able to give me the iPod mail in rebate. And their warranty is verrryy pricey.

Apple Online is what I decided on. I got the educational pricing, the iPod mail in rebate and Apple Care (which is sensational). You could get the exact same thing with the McMaster store.

You could buy your MacBook from Best Buy then buy Applecare later if you don't want the electronics store warranty. It all depends on if you want that rebate, and if you'd prefer the electronics store warranty. However, I highhhhly recommend going with Apple Care. They're professional and deal only with Macs. They're trained just for Apple.

Anyways, good luck! MacBooks are honestly amazing!
