Winter Warfare featuring Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Date: Saturday November 21st, 2009

Schedule:
1:00 pm – Sign ups and warm ups begin
3:00 pm – Tournament Begins

Format: Teams 2v2

Location: Pownz Gaming Centre,
307 King St East, Hamilton, Ontario.

Cost Per Player: $10 Venue (Allows play from 12:00PM Open till the end of the tournament)
$10 Tournament Prize Pool

1st place - 70%
2nd place – 20%
3rd place – 10%

Additional Rules:

1. Players are responsible for their Controllers & Hard-drives
2. No Modded Controllers are permitted

General Pownz Rules:
1. Pownz will assign all official tournament matches to specific systems to ensure the smooth pace of the tournament. Any game played during tournament time on a system that has not been assigned to the players will be considered a ‘friendly match’ and be considered a Scratch.
2. As attendees age vary greatly at each tournaments, it is mandatory that all language used during Pownz events is clean and free of obscenities.
3. All attendees should arrive at the Centre clean and odor free, Pownz will provide body spray for those who forgot this policy before they left home.
4. No Drugs or Alcohol are permitted on the premises.

Why is it a 2v2 and not a 4v4?

We have had requests for a 2v2 because its easier for teams to come together for a 2v2 rather than a 4v4 also its a better chance for teams of 2 form teams of 4 later on in the year.



*note* a plug and play kit is acceptable aslong as your battery pack is removed
