Campus Wireless: ABSOLUTLY Unacceptable Level
Okay, it has hit a new low. EVERYTHIGN fails. I can't get on anything other than google , and neither can anyone I know. I live in Rez, so unless I'm in my room (i.e. sperate from people to study with) I have few means of doing CAPA, chem quiz, anything really.
What is going on here!? It's exam time!

Yeah, it was TERRIBLE today. Just horrible. I was at Thode when I wasn't in class, so that would mean maybe 4 hours today, and for those 4 I couldn't even get to the main ELM page to log in.

Yup, I could barely get on ELM, or it would even not load at all. It's getting worse, I hope they fix it soon.

I'm talking about the Wifi in the libraries. Hence the title in the thread, campus wireless: absolutely unacceptable level. I'm totally unsure about the desktops, they are on ethernet, so I hope they were unaffected.

I can say that the HSL desktops are fine. Because of the ethernet connection I believe.

No, I don't think they were as badly...but that's besides the point. If laptops were rendered useless by wireless, there'd be wayyy too many people hogging up all the computers available (it's hard enough to get a computer as is).

okay well OP was whining about not being able to do CAPAs.
Has he heard of printing out the questions and doing them?

Why do you insist on posting if you have nothing to contribute? This post is about wireless not working on campus, stick to the subject or don't comment. The point it he and many other students cant access the internet. Considering how many students use the internet today, its really unacceptable from the university.

Besides, if you hadn't already printed them out what are you supposed to do? I don't want to pay $0.10 per page and print off a bunch of pages when I don't have to. That's assuming you can even get access to a computer in the library, which seems to be harder to do now that everyone has realized their laptops are useless. (I'm assuming off campus...if on res, that's different). And I know you can go home and print them, but the point is, it's inconvenient.
