What can I do on campus ?
Hey guys, I know this is not in the right section, but I couldn't find a place to put it in.
So, I am going down to mac tomorrow, Thursday and possibly Friday and I was wondering what can I do there...what I am tying to say is, I feel kindda bored sitting around here in my house doing nothing all day long (and the poor weather isn't helping/encouraging to go outside !), so I want to go to mac and maybe have some fun. The thing is I am going there by myself since none of my friends are in Hamilton now.
Simply put....what can I do at mac by myself? Are there any places I can go to and have some fun ?
Thanks in advance

lol thanks for the ideas actually I went to the media place in mills last year with my friends but I am not a big fan of electronics/video games. I thought of going to mac since its the only place I can think of in Hamilton, going to Limeridge alone isn't fun lol and I like mac, so I wouldn't mind spending time there..instead of sitting on the computer all day long lol.
Thanks for the ideas, ill try to keep them in mind !

There are a few trails near the res and IWC you could go on. Weather should be decent tomorrow afternoon.

I personally like the idea of navigating IWC. I'm two years into my undergrad and I've written a countless number of exams in there, yet I still can't figure my way out of IWC 3 to save my life. Seriously though, if it's nice enough outside, the trails around the campus are fantastic.

Kill time looking at books in Titles
Drop in on people you know who have offices at Mac (Professors, MSU people, Grad Students, etc...)
Try and find interesting places in various buildings (use http://www.mcmaster.ca/uts/maps/ as a guide)
Hike on the trails
See if there are any guest lectures or special events
Have lunch at the 1280 bar (there will usually be people there who will strike up a conversation)
Have lunch at the Phoenix and try one of their interesting beers
Check out random shops in Westdale
Head on over to Dundas and check it out

Try to find the hidden floor on Mills
Like others have said, navigate IWC
Explore buildings you've never been in (ie. Divinity College)
It sounds lame, but I like to go to the oversized section in the library and look at all the big ass books they have. There's some really cool ancient Egyptian-looking ones, and they're like 3 feet tall!

Not sure if this is "fun" exactly, but you could head to the track or the Pulse if you have a gym membership!

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions ! I went to the art museum this morning (for the second time) and it definitely changed from last year (I enjoyed a lot of the art pieces that were displayed). I also went to the media place in mills.
To be honest walking around campus by yourself isn't the greatest, its definitely better to go for a walk with a friend.
Overall great day at mac..better than staying at home lol
All your suggestions are/were helpful I will be going to the dbac tomorrow to try out some of the activities that they offer.
Any more suggestions are always welcome !

I don't know if anyone mentioned, but there's a Fiction wall on the second floor of Mills, along wish couches and stuff...if you're into that sort of thing.

Bring a camera and take pictures of mac's gorgeous campus and the hawks.
Hawks are pretty awesome.
(just make sure you keep your camera safe!)
