Basically in 1947 the UK, with the help of the UN, stole land from Palestine and then created Israel. How can Country A give away Counrty's B land to Country C... They had no right in doing that. This was all done with 65% of the Palestinian population (Arabic population) not agreeing to this in any way shape or form. It's a little bit more complex, but that's basically what happened. This was all done mainly as a gesture of empathy due to the Holocaust (which was the most despicable act ever committed). This whole Arab-Israel conflict started after that.... It never existed before. When Islam was starting to lose it's power in Europe (15th cent.), the Jews migrated back with the Muslims to Northern Africa because they treated them fairly and with respect. The reason the Jews left Europe with the Muslims was because the Jews were scarred of European persecution. So now we have this war going on... You can see why the Palestinians are pissed, they just want their country back. Islam and Judaism used to live side by side... Now it's all become a mess with some parties on both sides of the issue taking advantage of this by spreading hatred and violence. On the one hand, you have Hamas who just want to destroy Israel as whole because they're so fed up, and on the other you have government of Israel who think that occupying Palestine is right.... And that's basically it.
