Can we remove courses from ELM?
Since ELM has been changed around a bit, has anyone figured out how to remove courses from their course list (ie. courses from last term)?

I remember last term I had 4 courses on my ELM that I wasn't registered in. I emailed the tech support and they said they were working on a way for students to remove themselves. A few weeks later, the courses disappeared.

I've played around with settings but I can't find anything. I've also tried emailing the profs but they just ignore me.

Hmm, I don't think you can remove it... I'm pretty sure it was possible on WebCT, but I don't see an option for it on ELM. But may I ask why you need to remove courses? They might come in handy for the courses you're taking now.

I agree with Kathy. I just find it annoying/distracting for them to be there. XD

I'm pretty sure just like in WebCT, the courses stay there until they are automatically removed after 2 years.

I don't see a problem with all the courses. I have about 9 links right now, but all my term 2 courses are together since it's alphabetized. So I don't have any problem finding my courses.

On WebCT, we could remove ourselves.

It's annoying because there's so many from last term, plus there are four from this term that I was scheduled to be in at one point, but then dropped. There's just so many courses on there right now, and I'm only going to be using three this term.

Why would you want to remove any courses from ELM? Don't you want to look back at them and remember all the fun times you've had with the courses and the exciting learning experience that you received through ELM?

Best leave it for safe keepings.
