Hey,
I was wondering if I decided to do double major, and then halfway throughout the year decided only to do one....could I just do that? Like stop taking classes for that one major. Or do I have to officially drop it.

Thanks!

In order to start a combined honours degree, you have to talk to someone. It should be the same if you decide not to do a combined honours degree.

It should be the same as switching programs since each combined honours should be it's own program. Talk to you academic advisor before anything though.

Just contact the SocSci office once you've made your decision and they'll switch you. It's not a big of a deal at all, just make sure your fulfilling the requirements.

Currently I'm registered in Combined Honours Philosophy & Poli Sci but I'm planning to graduate with just single Honours Poli Sci this year. I was told I just have to the call the office when I want to switch and they'll do it. You don't have to separately apply.

Just call the office if you decide to switch to single honours.
