I wouldn't call any of the alternatives a good company. They're all money grubbing big corporations, and the little ones (ie Koodoo) are just subsidiaries of the big ones.
I'm with Rogers too and we've gotten all of our services from Rogers for years now but they have billing issues too. We've had to call to correct numerous billing errors over the years. It gets a little out of hand and more often than not you have to wait on the phone for a long time and then you get crappy, stupid and/or rude csr that "helps" you.
Really all the companies suck but you just have to pick one if you want the services.
I'd recommend staying with your company and trying to work things out. Build up your reputation as a loyal, long time customer and in future you will be able to get things you want. If you say to XX company I've been a customer for XX number of years and I've always liked your service but I have this XYZ problem now they'll be more than happy to help you and keep you as a customer. Threatening to cancel occasionally is a good tactic, actually doing it probably doesn't do you any favours.
