Chances Of Reinstatement!
I had been sick for about a year and half for a chronic condition that has been continuously looked after by the doctors at mac.I have recently received a surgery for the condition to be fixed and it has been good. i nearly failed my eng level 2 with gpa 3.9 and am applying for reinstatement. What are my chances for getting back in any program like eng phys or something considering my extenuating circumstances and close to pass gpa. Can somebody tell me? Also, any tips to write the summary/letter!?

If you have documentation and the issue seems to be resolved now (that is what I gather from your post) I don't see why you wouldn't be. Situations like this are why reinstatement exists. If a relapse is possible with your condition, make sure you address that in your letter and explain how you would handle it to make sure your school work doesn't suffer. Because it is a chronic condition you may also be able to receive accommodations from accessibility services.

I have the same issue. I have a surgery scheduled for my knee (torn ACL, MCL which took away my ability to be mobile, and therefore couldnt go to class) this summer. Gather as many supporting documents as you can from your surgeon and family doctor.

On the letter try emphasizing on the point that you will be better by the time school starts, and won't need to take a year off. Because that is what all faculties recommend before applying for reinstatement.

Good luck!

Good luck dude, Keep up with your forum. I will apply soon for eng phys. Hopefully, I make it. I should. I'm just very anxious. Good luck on your application.
