Cheaper Windows 7 for students?
hey guys!
i hav the macbook and i want to get the windows 7

I've read a thread few days ago and it said that
you get to buy the windows 7 for a cheaper price like 30 bucks or sth if u r a student
Is it correct?

I also remember reading about how some faculties provides the windows 7 for free tho i dont know how that'd work
im in the faculty of Science, Life Sci
so will i be able to get one free?
or can i like find the comp sci or engineering friends and ask them to get it for me or sth??
cuz i think they were the two faculties getting em free

Only Software and Computer engineers get software for free.

It's only 30$ for the upgrade. It'll cost more to get the installation CD. Just do a search, takes like 30 seconds.

Ya thats students in CAS only. Funny thing though is that we get like 4 copies for 1 student. So if you know someone in CAS...

A lot of Microsoft software keys also work for 3 different computers. Not sure about the free software from McMaster though.
