There is really not too much Chemistry in this program except for those mandatory organic chem classes you take. It has alot more to do with thermodynamics, Process design, and application of these principles in industry.
I would say the program is really good compared to most of the other engineering streams offered at Mac. In fact, I think it is the first and oldest program offered at Mac. Most of the profs. are very good and knowledgeable in the material.
With regards to courses: I won't say they are easy (this is engineering); but most of them are very relevant, interesting and engaging. While others are really out there (you will find out which they are quickly).
