Shush, you're making me look even worse.

In my defense, I asked on MI 'cause word of mouth is usually also coupled with word od advice (DON'T GO THERE etc.).

In my second defense...I don't know why I didn't ask you. D:

Its newer but no, it is not in fact larger than SilverCity Ancaster. It would also take over an hour to travel by bus for the same experience.

However, the reclining chairs are nice.

Also, theres always usually differences between whats playing at ancaster vs the mountain, so the delay might be worth it in some cases.

Yes, the difference being Ancaster has additional movies because it is larger. Rarely if ever is there a movie at Hamilton Mountain that is not at Ancaster.

Lots of replies already, so I'm sure OP has got his answer. But I'll give my two cents

Ancaster: good for general movies, Blockbusters, etc. Lots of stores/restaurants nearby but not really within walking distance, need a car
Westdale: nice place to "experience" because of the old theatre, usually only has one or two movies at a time and they are usually more independent films
Jackson: not the best location and screens aren't as big as Ancaster, but super cheap on certain days of the week (I believe on Tuesdays the tickets are only $5 and it's $2 for a drink and popcorn). Plus you can walk around the mall if you have time before the movie

Jackson Square has a theatre that's pretty awesome. It's a little crappy looking and small, but you can get in really cheap. Saw tron there last year for 10 bucks, and it was in 3D and we were the only ones there. Pretty good!

I'm pretty sure it's called Westdale Theatre.
