Confirmation Packages
Has anyone received confirmation packages? Will be screwed if I don't get it soon?  |

I'd love one soon. Can't get any loans until I have confirmation of registration in paper. So... Mac better get its act together.

Well, if you look under your "Program & Course Summary" section in MUGSI (this is in the Academics section), you should be able to see your Confirmation letter print date. According to the registrar, the earliest possible print date for your confirmation letter is Aug 5, so you can kind of estimate when your letter/package will get to you (if you live within GTA or around, I'm guessing it'll be about a week?).

A lady from the office told me that it will sent in the last week of August along with our mcmaster id card. Until then, you could just ask for the letter....
p.s don't forget to bring an id with you (SIN card, driver's license) when you go to get your letter.

I just checked in MUGSI the space beside "Confirmation Letter Print Date" is blank. I hope I get it soon because of the ID to get student plans for my cell phone.

Actually I walked in on the people packaging them on Wednesday.
I have a FUN project this summer that involves putting labels in all the class rooms and 'lockdown' notices (in case of emergency-the what to do and what not to do's) and I found them putting our validation stickers in with our confirmation letters.
One lady glared at me the whole time as if I was going to steal one lol.
So the point is that if you have't already gotten it they should be coming within the next week or so, depending on how fast those ladies move.

I have a students plan for my cell phone too and I'm with TELUS, whom I hate very much but the plan is bomb lol. Anyways, I got my confirmation package today
