I heard that the cost for using the washer was $1.25 (not sure if thats correct) and I'm not sure what the cost is for using the dryer.
Also, what type of change do both take?

It's 1.25 for each.

You can use purely quarters but it also uses loonies. Exact change is needed.

its 1.25 for the standard and you can put more money in if you want more time (this is for both washer and dryer). They take loonies and quarters.

Using purely quarters can be really annoying as the machines, in Bates at least, never wanted to accept them :p

Depends on the quarters I guess, normal quarters work fine for me last year. But having the machine not accept them isn't the only problem since you have to carry around a lot of quarters.
