Course Conflicts
How bad would it be to leave a conflict that only occurs on one day of the week out of all three classes

Any conflict is bad really..also it depends on what two items are involved in the conflict? A tutorial and a core? A tutorial and a lab?

if you have a conflict, means there is a possibility for the tests/exam to conflict which is no good. exams are scheduled like time tables, classes that dont conflict will not conflict when it comes to exams, things that conflict might conflict when it comes to exams.

EDIT: I am only talking about cores btw. lab/tutorial conflicts can be resolved easily

If that's the case, you'll have to go to the seminar, especially since the core is right in the middle of it. It might be okay, but you'll be missing a lot of info every week and if the prof doesn't give decent notes and posts them on-line, you can b at a disadvantage. If it's an elective, I suggest switching it around and taking it in a later term/year just to be safe!

Yes core conflicts are not a good sign. like Sara said if its an elective switch to another one. You can take that elective another year.

If you're in the Faculty of Science and neither of those components is optional, you will be required to withdraw from one course. They do not permit enrollment in conflicts and will follow up with you (if you remain in a conflict past some later deadline).
