Course selection help! (Kinesiology)
I was wondering if you guys could help me clarify a couple of things. I am going into kin this fall and I hope to get into dental school after my undergrad in kin. In terms of the prerequisites for dental/medical schools, when they say ___ credit/courses of Biology, Chemistry, Calculus, can they be simply Biology courses from first year that satisfy the requirement? Also, if I am not interested in like the evolution/plant topics in Biology, am I allowed to avoid the courses that has them? Or would that prevent me from satisfying the requirements for professional schools? Also, there is no physical "activity courses" that you have to do in mac like western or york right? Thank you anyone who could answer these qs!

As for your first question, you need to be more specific/give more context.

For your second question, not as far as I know, but all the required courses for kinesiology are listed in the course calendar if you want to check them out. Just google "mcmaster course calendar" and it should come up.

That's still not specific enough...what are the requirements telling you for the dental schools you're looking at? If they say you need two bios, then no you'll need to take both. If they specify certain content that needs to be included, then that would dictate if you need one or the other or both. If you need a second-year bio course (and it should specify the content of this course, usually not just any random bio course), then you will likely need to take both because most (though not all) of the second-year bio courses require both 1A03 and 1M03.
