Courses to take for physiotherapy?
Hey,

I'm a first year kin student with an interest in a masters in physiotherapy. My question is, what courses (electives) should I be taking to prepare me and fulfill the requirements to get me into the physiotherapy program?

My electives right now are Psych 1X03, Math 1LS3, Psych 1XX3, and Physics 1L03.

Am I missing any first year courses that I should be taking? I am open to switching out Psych 1XX3 if necessary. And what courses should I be ready to take in the following years? For instance the Sports Injuries course in 3rd year kin.

From this, (http://www.srs-mcmaster.ca/Admission...3/Default.aspx) all I get out of it is that I need a B average in 3rd and 4th year. But I want to know what courses I should be taking to prepare me for applying to physio.

Also, how difficult is it to get a spot in the program? Surely fulfilling the course prerequisites and required average isn't enough to get in. Any advice is welcomed.

I appreciate any comments/suggestions.

I think your best bet is to visit an academic advisor for your faculty...
I doubt anyone here knows how to answer this as well as an academic advisor would...
