I think for Kin it's to make sure that all Kin students get into the course. It's like having reserved seating, but instead of giving them individually they give them to everyone by making that course code Kin students only.

Yeah exactly, I think that's also the deal for the other cross-listed courses..
I agree with Greg, Definitely weird XD

All cross-listed courses I've come across are courses that are in different faculties. The only exceptions I know of are like French 1A06 and French 2M06. Advanced first year class, and continuation of intermediate class - but they're one and the same.

Maybe that's why it filled so quickly, it's both first years and second years primarily. A lot of random people took the class lol, there was like 30+ year olds in my 1K06 tutorial. That doesn't beat the like 75+ year old I saw at an exam once.

That finally explains my dilemma trying to get into FRENCH 1A06.. *sigh.. I was looking forward to it being a smaller class/tut. >.<

Yup, they're eligible for bursaries equivalent to their tuition fees.

That's so incredible in so many ways, I wish I could be like that when I'm 65+

Ah ok, that makes sense. I hope I'll be one of those seniors. I love to learn, the only problem is that when I'm a senior I'll be so behind in science >.<
