Cumulative Average/ Honours Life Sci
So im going into Life Sciences I and I want to do Honors Life Sciences in the following years(is that possible??). I just wanted to know if its hard to get a cumulative average of 6 or above. How is the cumulative average calculated?
Oh and also, how many years will it take in total if I do get into Honors Life Sciences(including the Life Sciences I year)? Thanks!

Hi DMe3,

Most of the answers to your questions and more can be found in the Undergraduate Calendar

Not very hard, but you need to keep up with your work and put in a genuine effort.

It's the aggregate (sum) of your weighted marks (i.e. a 6 unit course is worth twice as much as a 3 unit course) divided by the total number of units completed. See this link: http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /calen...07/sec_143.htm

Four years for an Honours Life Science Degree if you take 60 units per year.
