The fact that you think someone looking to learn to dance means they want to learn an indian folk dance that can be seen at indian weddings, then you really need to give your head a shake channy

Are you implying that the OP is unlikely to make Indian friends and hence go to an Indian wedding?

This is Canada, mister. He is free to be friends with whoever he wants.

You know you just keep making this easier for me right? You just made a completely unrelated point. Heres a comparison that i think even your simple mind may understand. and to be clear, i assume simple from the commerce program this is an example of your thought process behind this topic. If i were to say im thinking of having some friends over for a BBQ, and you go off on and offer me a recipe that will teach me to BBQ squirrel and muskrats. While yes, you could technically do those things on a bbq, it is highly unlikely that that even in the same area code as what i am looking for. And thanks for updating me on what country this is, without you i would never have known where ive been living for the past 22 years
Im done with telling you how much of an imbecile you come across as though, good luck on your fourth year commerce midterms tho, i hear you guys are learning how to do long division these days

Would you mind rephrasing that statement? It seems slightly awkwardly worded.
And I think a more accurate statement is you criticizing my recommendation on BBQ squirrel and not batting an eye to someone recommending raccoon meat. Seems quite a bit of people here don't know what Zumba is either.

Bit impossible to say without knowing what sort of dance you want to learn.

Swing and latin are probably the closest to being useful in a general dancing situation. Ballroom is really fun though and where I started when I started to dance.

Source: Taken a bunch of dance courses over the past year and a half.

But you keep thinking he was looking for someone to point him in the direction of the nearest indian folk dance studio
Given the fact that a circle of 10 white people (strangers) asked me to do bhangra when we all were drunk at a popular bar downtown, I'd say you're pretty ignorant in your knowledge about people's knowledge about the different kinds of dance.

And Rangiroa is fucking beautiful:

Hey guys, on behalf of the Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty, I would like to apologize for colleague's presumptuous, intolerant and immature behaviour. Though it's no disagreement that we are generally awkward, coarse, and inarticulate, the majority of us are friendly people. By no means does our program ever teach us to be condescending to our peers studying in other non-engineering fields. Please do not allow Chris23 to be representative of how engineers behave.
Thanks.
